The bigger the burger, the happier the tastebuds. Go big or go home with Big Poppa’s 1/2 Pound Monster Burger recipe.

Big Poppa’s 1/2 pound Monster Burger leaves no room for seconds. Sometimes you want a big, thick old fashioned burger.

What you’ll need:


  1. Form your patty with the ground beef. Concave the center with your fist to assist with even cooking
  2. Add in the W Sauce as glue and smother all over patty
  3. Season patty with Big Poppa’s Money Seasoning
  4. In a pan, sauté sliced onions and season with Big Poppa’s Money Seasoning
  5. Pour the same W Sauce on the sautéed onions for more flavor
  6. Cook your burger patty – Big Poppa used the SnS Grills Drip N Gridde Cast Iron pan to get the perfect sear on these patties
  7. Throw on 2 slices of cheese on your burger patty when ready (it will finish melting as it cools)
  8. In another pan, cook your 2 eggs and season with Big Poppa’s Jallelujah Jalapeno Seasoning
  9. Butter and toast your buns
  10. Mix thousand island ranch with Big Poppa’s Little Louie’s Seasoning for the sauce
  11. Assemble your burger: Add the Little Louie’s thousand island sauce to your bun, add lettuce (shredded), tomatoes, pickles, burger patty, egg, caramelized onions and top with the bun
  12. Enjoy!
SERVING SIZE: 1 BURGER (Multiply if making more)
