Big Poppa’s Jimmy Dean Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients

4 Jimmy Dean Sausage patties

High heat cooking oil

Butter

Tater Tots

Colby Jack Cheese slices

4 Eggs

4 Everything Bagels

Big Poppa’s Jallelujah Jalapeño Seasoning

Mayonnaise

Mustard

BBQ Sauce

Directions

Preheat your griddle or a large skillet and generously coat it with high heat oil.

In a corner of the griddle, melt a small amount of butter, then place your tater tots on the hot surface. Cover them to cook evenly.

While the tater tots are cooking, place the Jimmy Dean Sausage patties on the griddle and press them down gently with a spatula. Cook until they are browned and fully cooked through.

In another corner of the griddle, melt some butter and crack the eggs onto the hot surface. Cook the eggs to your preferred level of doneness. Sprinkle the eggs with Big Poppa’s Jallelujah Jalapeño Seasoning for added flavor.

Flip the sausage patties and tater tots as needed to ensure they cook evenly on both sides.

Once the eggs are cooked, stack them over the sausage patties and add a slice of Colby Jack Cheese on top. Cover the griddle to allow the cheese to melt.

Butter your griddle once more and place the everything bagels on it to toast until they are lightly browned and crisp.

While the bagels are toasting, prepare your sauce. Mix mayonnaise, mustard, and BBQ sauce in equal parts. Adjust the quantities to suit your taste.

Time to plate your sandwich! Remove the toasted bagels and spread the sauce on both sides of each bun.

Assemble your sandwich by placing a sausage patty with melted cheese and eggs on the bottom half of the bagel. Add a portion of tater tots, then top with the other half of the bagel.
