Big Poppa's Desert Gold Salmon and Brussels Sprouts

Course: Main Course   Cuisine: American   Prep Time: 30 min   Cook Time: 15-20 min   Servings: 2-3

Ingredients

Salmon Fillets

Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning

Oil for griddling

1 1/2 Sticks of unsalted butter

Freshly grated ginger (about 1 tablespoon)

Minced Garlic (about 1 tablespoon)

1 Lemon

Brussels Sprouts

Directions

Preheat your griddle to 400 degrees and ensure it’s well-oiled to prevent sticking.

Season the salmon fillets generously with Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning on both sides.

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the preheated griddle and cook for approximately 4 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

While the salmon is cooking, melt a stick of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat.

Season the melted butter with Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning, freshly grated ginger, minced garlic, and the juice of half a lemon. Stir well to combine.

Add pads/slices of unsalted butter to the griddle and place the Brussels sprouts over them.

Season the Brussels sprouts with Big Poppa’s Desert Gold Seasoning, to taste.

Cut lemon slices and place them on the griddle to grill alongside the Brussels sprouts.

Cover the griddle with a lid or foil to create a steaming effect, allowing the salmon and Brussels sprouts to cook through.

Once the salmon is cooked and the Brussels sprouts are tender, remove them from the griddle and transfer to a serving plate.

Drizzle some of the seasoned melted butter over the grilled Brussels sprouts and salmon.

Serve the salmon alongside the grilled brussels sprouts, garnished with lemon slices.

Enjoy your flavorful and satisfying meal!
